Privacy notice

We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect and what you can do about it. We never sell your data.
What we collect
Your mobile number and name, and the areas you choose.
Places you save, such as a home address. We store a rounded map point, not your exact spot.
Your enquiries, requests, messages, ratings and the photos you add.
For businesses: business details, and the documents we need for checks.
For automatic payments: a reference from the payment company. We never see or keep your full card number.
Why we use it
To run the service: sign you in, show businesses in your area, and pass your enquiries on.
To check businesses before they are listed, and to keep the service safe from abuse.
To keep payment and check records, because the law requires it.
"Use my location" is optional. We use location only for search, rides and deliveries.
Who sees it
A business sees your name and message. It sees your number and address only if it accepts your request.
Business phone numbers are shown only to signed-in users.
Our staff see only what their job needs. Checking staff see business documents only through short links that expire after a few minutes.
Companies that help us run the service, such as for SMS, WhatsApp, payments and hosting, get only what they need for that job.
Your choices
We send news and offers only if you say yes. Change this any time in Account settings. On WhatsApp, reply STOP.
We remember which advert or link brought you here only if you allow it. Without that, we count visits without knowing who you are.
How long we keep it
Sign-in sessions: deleted 90 days after they end.
WhatsApp message text: removed after 90 days.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal details after 30 days. Payment and check records are kept without your name or number.

Your rights
You can download everything we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account, in Account settings under Your data.
You can ask us to correct your details, or object to how we use them.
You can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
